Today is the first day of my new routines. I took it upon myself to make yesterday my last day of summer. Spent time with the ones I love and got my hair done too. But that's not the point. I'm starting my daily routines today. Wake up, meditate, write, read, work out, eat. The plan is to do this daily for the next 12 months. Week days before school and weekends too. Nightly, I will write gratitude lists. I've done these off and on for the past couple of years but not enough to make the habits permanent.
Consistency is vital.
They say the habits you build in your 30s follow you into your 50s and beyond. I want to grow older and wiser and healthier. So I start today, the first of the month.
As I better myself, I know I am bettering my world. That is important to me.
